Barreling into November\u2014this podcast needs a drink! At the top of the latest episode we rip a generous glug of State Line Distillery’s new Coffee Liqueur<\/a> with coffee from Madison, Wisconsin’s Kin-Kin Coffee<\/a>. The reaction?<\/p>\n

The unique flavor sensations don’t end there\u2014hosts Jordan Michelman and Zachary Carlsen Ceado Hoop Brew a special offering from Deadstock Coffee and Portland, Oregon’s renowned Haitian restaurant Kann<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To round things out, the hosts taste Partners Coffee’s Colombia Chiroso limited release\u2014a beautiful cup to carry them through the episode.<\/p>\n

Chiroso is a mysterious variety specific to Antioquia, Colombia. Once thought to be a local mutation of caturra, it is now believed to have a closer relationship to Ethiopian landraces. This is fifth year buying chiroso from Aid\u00e9 Garro, and hers is a beautiful representation of its incredible flavor profile\u2014think watermelon and cherry Jolly Rancher, mango, lime, jasmine, and elderflower. Truly a stunner.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
