Teaming up with renowned cookbook author <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joshuamcfadden.com\/\">Joshua McFadden<\/a>, La Marzocco is hosting four <a href=\"https:\/\/lamarzoccousa.com\/news\/blog\/espresso-carbonara-dates\/\">Espresso &amp; Carbonara brunches<\/a> throughout the month of December to celebrate McFadden\u2019s favorite pairing.<\/p>\n<p>Most known for the James Beard Award-winning cookbook <em>Six Seasons: A New Way With Vegetables<\/em>, McFadden is soon to release his third book, <em>Six Seasons Of Pasta: A New Way With Everyone&#8217;s Favorite Food<\/em>. As the story goes, when working on the new cookbook McFadden would fuel up with shots of espresso from his Linea Mini, which he discovered paired bizarrely well with a decadent carbonara; he even went so far as to call it his favorite brunch.<\/p>\n<p>Thus was born the idea of the Espresso &amp; Carbonara brunch. Making stops in Portland, Minneapolis, Madison, and Milkwaukee, in an interview with La Marzocco McFadden describes the brunch series as \u201cnothing fussy [or] overthought. Just good pasta, good espresso, and good people.\u201d He also describes it as part of his agenda to make carbonara a breakfast food. Do with that information what you will.<\/p>\n<p>For the events, each location will have an espresso and carbonara pairing on their specials menu as well as having <em>Six Seasons of Pasta<\/em> available for purchase, with McFadden being on hand to autograph.
